Center for One Welfare-Africa (COW-Afri) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating, promoting, and safeguarding the ‘welfare of all’ through resilient implementation of One Health System through multisectoral collaborations. We recognize that the earth is one, and life revolves and thrives in one ecosystem and biodiversity; Human Health, Animal Health, and Environmental Health are inextricably linked and hinged.

COW-Afri aims to reduce animal suffering, enhance human health outcomes, and safeguard the environment by collaborating with diverse expertise, promoting effective strategies, and implementing holistic solutions through strong leadership and management.

We envision a sustainable future in which the health and well-being of humans, animals, and the environment are interconnected and mutually supportive, fostering thriving ecosystems and flourishing communities across Africa and beyond while augmenting the strenuous efforts aimed at the timely achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
